As an individual and relationship therapist, I work primarily within the Consensual Non-Monogamous (CNM) and LGBTQ+ communities, as well as with anyone possibly experiencing a crisis of identity. Maybe you want to dive into different relationship dynamics or structures, but are unsure of how to process the complicated emotions that come up with that exploration. Perhaps you're struggling with the stress of balancing your openly queer personal life, while remaining closeted at work. Or you could be in the midst of swinging, but want to increase your communication skills so everyone’s voice is being properly understood. You can be a metamour that wants to work on conflict resolution to better compromise on how time and resources are shared between all interconnected relationships. Perhaps you need support in reinforcing healthy boundaries with unaccepting or toxic family members. Possibly you're a young adult struggling to separate what you want for yourself and the unrealistic expectations your guardian(s) and/or society has drilled into you. Regardless of the scenario, I want to support you during this next step towards thriving with a life path that best fits your values, traits, community, and overall self-image.

How Can I Help?

Through an identity-affirming, feminist, and integrative approach, I provide evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual or relationship.  Therapy is a collaborative and responsive process towards specific, realistic, and attainable goals. My feedback-based care allows for any needed adjustments within the focus or techniques of our work together. In order to better understand and respect your unique emotional, mental, and physical realities, our sessions will address the interconnected facets that make up your life. This includes your physiological needs, possible histories of trauma, support systems, cultural norms, accessibility to community resources, and systemic power imbalances. They've all played a part in how you've gotten this far. They should all play a part in creating the lasting changes you want for yourself.

Since I’ve dedicated my clinical work to appreciating the importance of identity, it only feels fair that I share a bit of my own with you. I am a multi-racial, BIPOC, queer, cisgender woman that identifies as a member of the CNM community. In 2015, I graduated from Florida International University with my Master of Social Work (MSW). I inherited my drive to help others from my mom, who somehow compassionately balanced being a school teacher and raising 4 kids on her own! In my personal time, I enjoy cooking (baking included!) and crafting. Fun Fact: I knitted the sweater I'm wearing in the middle picture. I can’t seem to pass up a good brain teaser or riddle. I also love watching documentaries and based-on-true-story dramas. So feel free to share any recommendations for my watchlist!
